Riverside Park Conservancy
On May 21, 2023, Riverside Park was again be the location for New London's annual Neighbor Day celebration. Come to Riverside for Art in the Park; artists of all ages are welcome, and art supplies will be available for children and youth who do not bring their own. Riverside Park Conservancy will also provide pizza and beverages to park visitors, in the amphitheater area (near the playscape and basketball court) in good weather, and in the pavilion if it's drizzly.
On December 6, 2011, New London Mayor Daryl Finizio authorized the annual observance of NEIGHBOR DAY each year on the Sunday before Memorial Day weekend in perpetuity. Tha tradition continues this year with a celebration of community in our beautiful park!
