Park Information

Tucked away behind Hodges Square, Riverside Park can be accessed by car from Adelaide Street, off Crystal Avenue, at its south end, and from Riverside Heights at its north. Limited parking is also available at the pedestrian entrance at the end of Grove Street, just past Winthrop School. Admission and parking are free. The park is open from dawn to dusk.

Ideal for passive recreational use, the park has three picnic areas equipped with tables and grills, as well as paths for walking and biking and benches for looking out over the Thames River. The park is also available for events; requests for special uses need to be brought before the Parks & Recreation Commission, which meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Senior Center Library at 6:30pm.

Please note that the bathrooms at Riverside Park are closed for the winter. Updated information about restroom and running water availability will be available on May 1.
